Background of the Competition

The first "Liangshan Cup" National College Students Rural Revitalization Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which was held in 2023, has received unanimous praise from the majority of youthful university students and colleges and universities, as well as extensive attention from the media at all levels at home and abroad, and effectively gathered a number of young people and projects to settle in rural areas, which has strongly promoted the creation of the "Preferred Place for Rural Entrepreneurship". In order to further implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions to the county of Anji on "making persistent efforts, seizing the momentum, and riding on the victory" and the relevant requirements for youth innovation and entrepreneurship in rural areas, the county is committed to building an innovation and entrepreneurship event for college students with the highest standards, the largest impact, and the widest coverage in the country, thereby promoting the implementation and effectiveness of the "Two Mountains" concept, and providing Anji experience and example for the whole country that can be replicated and popularized.

Competition Organizations: The Competition Committee is responsible for competition development planning, competition programs, competition regulations and other validation work; the Competition Secretariat is responsible for organization and implementation, operation and management, publicity and promotion, overall coordination, other work of the competition; the Supervision and Arbitration Group is responsible for supervising the competition process and handling objections in the competition, to ensure that the competition is fair and impartial.

Participants

The participants are divided into teachers and students group and high-level talents group.
Faculty and students section：Students at domestic and foreign universities and college students within five years of graduation (after January 1, 2019) can apply for the competition. The number of students in each team is limited to 3-7, and the instructor is 1-3. The leader of the team must be identified, and the team and the instructor are encouraged to form a team freely across regions, schools, fields, disciplines and professions.
High-level personnel group:Refers to the master's degree or above or associate high or above professional title, can apply for the competition. Each team shall consist of one person in charge and at least three core members. The age of the person in charge of the team shall be no more than 55 years old, and the average age of the team shall be no more than 45 years old. The team leader should have held the position equivalent to associate professor or above in a well-known university or research institute or a middle or senior technical management position in a well-known enterprise for more than 3 years. At least one of the team members has rich entrepreneurial experience or used to be a senior management position in a well-known enterprise. The core technology mastered by the team has independent intellectual property rights. It has sufficient guarantee of start-up capital.

Competition System and Schedule

System
The competition features an entrepreneurship track and a creativity track, with a three-tier system of preliminaries, rematches and finals. The evaluation will be jointly organized and implemented by the Competition Committee and the Sponsor, and a number of outstanding projects will be selected for commendation and incentives.
Track 【Entrepreneurship Track】
Rural Revitalization and Scientific and Technological Innovation.
With Anji County as the competition area and five selected villages as the competition sites, Rural Revitalization encourages projects in the directions of rural entrepreneurial business space renovation and operation, and rural agricultural, cultural and tourism business cultivation and operation.
With Anji Qinglv Comprehensive Talent Community (Meida) and Anji Qinglv New Economy Industrial Park as the competition area, Scientific and Technological Innovation empowers the industrial development in Anji, with a focus on agricultural science and technology, life health, electronic information, new materials, digital economy, artificial intelligence, Anji game and other emerging economic industries, while gathering a number of high-level talents and their teams, which will be given support for project implementation based on high-level talent entrepreneurship support fund in the county.
Track 【Creativity Track】
With Anji County and co-organizing districts and counties as the competition area, the participants shall give creative answers to the questions raised by the relevant townships (sub-districts), functional departments and state-owned enterprises such as Zhejiang Anji Agricultural Investment High Tech Group in co-organizing districts and counties and Anji County. The questions will be divided by the directions of rural cultural and creative design, rural planning and design, rural humanities and public welfare, among others.
